Wow, thanks Steve! The white grape is still so prominent, great tartness, light cheesy funk, light oak. So bright, lingers forever and stays consistent. Incredible, and 12 years old!

EB Frilltessence 2023. Paired with sweetbread. Very rustic funk with plenty of bright acidity and drying grape pit tannins. Tasty but surprisingly rough around the edges.

Held up perfectly. The unblemished cork made me optimistic but the head retention is what’s most telling as with all old Cantillon I’ve had. Lychee, apple and lemon mix with petrichor, green olives, & dry straw. Perfect body and very drinkable. Almost 4.6

Jesus Fuck. This is the oldest I've had of Vig, and the best. Hard-core cheese rind funk, enough tart to make the sour beer presence known. Everything you want in an old sour

Strangely, more white wine grape character than I've gotten from new bottles.
