Freshly tapped. Lots of tropical notes in the nose. Flavor wise there is more mango going and citrus, refreshing, little bit too bitter finish, slight hopburn (probably because it is fresh from tap).

Like the other Yuzu sours I have tasted. Light, citrusy, slighty tart and refreshing. Enjoyed cold on a warm summer day.

Harmless fresh berry sour. Good on warm day where you need something a bit fruity and refreshing
almost 3 years ago
Well, it goes down fairly easy and is refreshing. Needs to be enjoyed very cold on a warm day. It tastes like a bready pilsner with herbal, a bit too the watery side and gets a little bit boring with each sip

Actually the first IPL I have had that is a well balanced mix of the styles. Clean and transparent color, fruit nose, tastewise it has some sweet fruit notes like pineapple and some crispness to it. Everything you want from both styles, goes down easy

A grapefruity IPA and a bit tropical. For a grapefruity ipa it does maintain a good balance, it is not too bitter.

Quite decent IPA. Nose of banana also taste of it and quite bitter as well.

Very decent and tropical IPA with an oatmeal-base to it. Definitely a heavy malt base for a IPA of this percentage, both decent amount of sweetness and bitterness to it.

Atomic Tagerine Tangerine Forward Dessert Ale Meldgaard
Pretty much like a juice. Reminds me of their orange creamsicle beer there is just more juicyness, power, sweetness and acidicity in this one - More of everything.

Pretty well balanced IPA, just a slight bit too much bitterness. Quite grapefruity and piney, also taste quite fresh tapped with some herbal hops notes coming through.

Very good for a session IPA. Light and refreshing, good hop burn, taste very freshly tap with tons of piney and grapefruity/citrusy flavors coming through. I could drink lots of these on a sunny day.

Very caramelly and toffee nose. Lacks complexity and depth in taste, a pretty ordinary Brown ale. Not bad in anyways.

SpontanCherry Frederiksdal (2021) Meldgaard
Good strong nose of fresh sweet cherries. The taste is light, acidity and with sweet sour cherries, it lacks a little bit in depth but is still a very good refreshing beer.

Decent enough, malty and floral nose. Biscuity sweet body with underlying honey notes, a bit floral and herbal with a lingering bitter finish.

From Yesterday. Found this a bit lackluster somehow, could have used more intense fruity flavors and acidity.

White Wedding (2022) Meldgaard
For sure the best beer I have had from Fanø Bryghus. Big thick and powerful stout which is still provides a smooth and full mouthfeel. Clear barrel notes and chocolate flavors.

Very malty, hoppy and yeasty for a lager. Still light and clean but honestly lack some crisp feel. I salute trying to do something different with a lager, but I did find it a little bit lackluster.

Black Malts & Body Salts 2.0 Meldgaard
Very interesting beer. I was definitely had my doubts if an IPA could work with coffee and roastyness, but it seems like To Øl manage to hit it just right. Smooth round roasty coffee with sweet fresh hoppy notes.

One of the few barley wines I actually enjoyed. Lots of thickness and caramel sweetness. Really enjoyable when drinking slowly. Even though it was around 16% the taste wasn’t as boozy as expected.

Very very sour and tart. But also sweet, fresh and playful. I quite enjoyed it.

Ostranotus Cecelatus Meldgaard
Pretty damn good dank IPA (or ZAPPA). Lots of tropical flavors in the nose and flavor, orange is the most prominent one for me. Very grassy and fresh as well. It maintains a good balance even though it is packed with flavors.

Very grapefruity and bitter. Pretty west-Coast style with sweet malt feel and a quite dry finish. Some will definitely love this. I think the bitterness is a bit too overwhelming

Previous rating stands when you think of e.g. a strawberry sour from Vault City then this beer is quite subpar. Personally I think it is one of the worst in the stolen Series

Beer Geek Fudgesicle Meldgaard
Pretty good. Tempted to give it a 4.5. Strong nose of cacao and subtle hints of toffee. It has a great mouthfeel, lots of sweetness tons of caramel and cacao flavors with subtle amount of lactose than give a very mild and round mouthfeel.
A little bit disappointed since it is labelled as a pastry stout. Very thin and watery for a pastry stout. Quite mild and a small hint of cacao. Overall it could just use more of everything. Thicker body, and more Power on the tastefront

Previously rating stands. Fantastic IPA. Mild, really fruity (orange, mango and grapefruit), low amount of bitterness.

Decent porter. Lots of mild coffee notes in the smell and flavor, very round overall.

Very special nose, quite caramel like and a bit fruity. Tastewise it taste very biscuity with lots of caramel and a hint of vanilla. Round and soft mouthfeel, with a little bit boozy finish. Overall a quite good White stout

Got better the warmer it Got. A decent russian imperial style stout with strong notes of roasted coffee and underlying notes of licorice.
In a lot of ways what a good traditional imperial stout should be. Lots of oak bourbon barrel notes, and as the beer because warmer a lot of underlying chocolate are present among the roasted coffee.

Ribena all over the place. Really sweet, intense taste of black currant with good natural feel and good feel of tartness and a bit acidic. Really a good drink if you spoil yourself

Frangelic Mountain Brown Meldgaard
Same rating as the last time. Really fantastic Brown ale with delicious hazelnut nose. Taste is mild and round coffee with underlying chocolate notes and a good amount of hazelnut flavor. Really a top notch Brown ale.

K:rlek Vår/Sommar (2021) Meldgaard
Pretty classic Pale ale. Light, hoppy, dry and lots of citrus. Pretty clean and crisp as well
over 3 years ago
Completely fine and average saison. It is everything an saison should be not anything extraordinary in any way.
One of the best Brown ale I’ve had. Soft and mild coffee notes in the nose. Tastewise it is round coffee with sweet caramel like notes, spices and a bit of dryness and bitterness.
Very decent IPA. Quite malty/bready, dry, bitter but with a good amount of tropical notes. Reminds me a little bit of a Sierra Nevada Pale ale, which is not bad by any means.

A mikkeller classic. Fine normal refreshing Berliner Weisse with a taste of raspberry. Overall low complexity in the taste palette.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2016) Meldgaard
Acidic, tart, wild yeasted. Pear like notes in the nose and taste. Refreshing and light feel despite the 8%

Boon Kriek Selection Meldgaard
Very cherry-heavy nose. It is a little bit tart, acidic and sour with some sweet cherry to balance it out. This beer is the definition of a great balanced brew.

Very decent pilsner. Fresh, crisp, light, grassy with a bitter kick. Perfect for the sunny weather
over 4 years ago
Really taste like a strange mix of a lambic + saison and a bit of dry white wine. I'm not sure what to think of this one, but it was interesting at least.
Definitely a fine spotan yeasted beer, it just needs that extra kick to place itself among the top ones. It is refreshing and rart, and tastes of Blackberry ofc.

Very roasty and coffee-tasting porter. Mild and round as well, good overall balance

Más Agave Grapefruit Meldgaard
Quite unique taste. Super intense, full of different flavors. Taste a bit like a belgian trippel combined with a gose with a small hint of grapefruit.

I can't really taste the chocolate. It got a quite clear coffee smell and taste with a hint of hazelnuts. It's super smooth and mild
