Bit better than I remember. I get a lot of malt and a LOT of hops… but I don’t know about balance. Definitely a big beer with a lot of popular flavors, I can see why people like it.

Wow! Never seen the show, but I am a fan of this beer! Surprisingly smooth, just a touch of barrel, mostly just a smooth roasty (oxymoronic I kno) plenty of vanilla, did i mention smooth?

The sweetness is what surprises me. Very hoppy, but not very bitter. I get even a bit of vanilla, and a lot of sweet malt. Very yummy.

Hard for me to rate this. I think it’s right on style and I appreciate the accuracy. Additionally it’s a well-made beer all around. I just find marzens a bit too sweet.
