Yeah definitely no longer resembling the grand cru base. Way lighter, no tart/acetic remaining from the grand cru. More dilute & I’m not digging the spice - they say sumac. They also say toffee but it’s really light bodied & a bit watery.

The aroma is straight up 80s era Dunkin Donuts with coffee and loads of chocolate. Nice roasty flavor and richer than usual chocolate fudge notes. Incredibly smooth with a faint sweet finish. Holy yum!
