Doing back breaking labor overhead on a holiday really makes you want to crack a bottle and enjoy. Lemon zest and lightly funky. Sharp Bret flavor and an oh so light oak.

Roasty, sweet and a dry coffee bitter chalky flavor on the tail. vanilla and chocolate caramel meld very well together.

Travis Earley

Tart fruity and red currant lightly bitterness, but a watery fruity character. Lightly funky as it opens up. Very well carbonated and a tightly packed rose head on this

Really sharp and abrasive version of a hazy. Citrus rind and really dry on the tail.

Smooth and really sweet light cherry with a faint bit of funk. Sweet, light oak and a deep cherry, almost black cherry but with a lighter lemony funk.

Smooth chocolate, bourbon and a little bit of heat. More of a smooth flavor rolling in here. Really silky and delicious

Funky- earthy hops combined with a delicate meaty tart flavor. Like deep musty and dried cherries

Always a nice one to get every year to usher in fall. Full on pumpkin and slight nutmeg, clove and pumpkin pie spicing to this with delicate balance. Always well done

Enamel ripping tartness that is unlike the normal Cantillon funk. Sweet and tart and a jam like raspberry. Raspberry lemonade.

This is so.damn.good. After 7 years still such a bright, lemon juice and orange peel like tartness that is now melded well into hay and a little bit of funk. Very smoove and aging nicely…

Beautiful color but a really thin head that vanished too quickly. Very smooth and malty and an oily slick mouthfeel.

Sweet, vinous and some tannins on the tail. Juicy but in a grape fruity manner. Little jammy, but ever so slightly astringent finish. Nicely tart, sweet and faintly funky.

Like blueberry flavored coffee. Bourbon is really fain this year, but present in some sweetness and heat. Seems almost overpowered but the bright acidic and sweet blueberry flavor mixed with choco and lighter coffee roast

Boozy, but not abrasively so after a strong start to the evening. Cognac, slightly boozy, but missing that really strong maple syrup waft to show me it is true Utopias. Maybe my 2015 was just that though. Hops do a good job of covering. Really drinkable

Really bitter grapefruit juice and heavy bitter citrus vibe. Has that yeasty flavor with a little bit of spongy bready malts.

2016 vintage. Really warm and light lemon zesty tartness. Bright, tart and pretty zippy. Smoothed slightly oak and a clean mouthfeel.

Such wine like grape tannin and oak laden flavor. Sweet, but brightly done ans a juicy disposition. Tart, but balanced with the sweetness.

Warm, inviting- sweet bourbon wrapped in a ton of milk chocolate. Cherry was really slight at best and this was a boozy, chocolate coffee masterpiece…

Strong pumpkin, nutmeg and spice. Light cinnamon, lots of nutmeg actually and a pleasant drinking amber color

BFLN-while watching the snow-mageddon Bills game last night. Easy and light hops. Earthy and really crisp. Clean

Vanilla cinnamon and maple all come thru really strong in the first sip. This is borderline pastry scotch ale. 🤪 barrel is subtle and oak laden, but with a spicy kick.

Pretty bland and flavorless, but that might be some metallic from the covid meds that I’m on. Pale like hops, bland and earthy.

Pretty boozy and sharp, but had a cheap coffee vibe to it. The hazelnut was more in the nose than a nutty flavor, but still solid. Barrel seemed like an afterthought

I mean- I freaking love passionfruit. It’s so juicy and tart and slightly bitter. Easily crushable and a salty finish

BFLN-solidly done BA coffee stout. Barrel treatment was a little light this time around and cinnamon was really forward in this beer. Reminded me a little bit of a cinnamon sweet coffee.

Smooth, creamy and coffee forward. This is subtle And how I’d like KBS to drink now that I’m an old man… sweet, only a faint wrap of bourbon and smooth balanced coffee. Not aggressive at all

B-day Fou is a really delicious tradition around these parts. This was a solid vintage! Bright apricot and a slightly oaky and lemon juicy lambic tail to it, but apricot preserves and a very bit of pucker in the tail. Funky and will develop well in time

Lovely little brew. Like a solid stout that’s been laden with sweet shop tasty treats from a fresh fudge like family. Coffee is faint, but a medium roast. Can barely taste the barrel. Fudge plays the prominent lead here

Helluva nice stout. Coffee and barrel are really subtle but the fudgy and maple syrup like flavors are there, just subdued. Really delicate and balanced into one...

Whoa! I could smell the mushy raspberry patch AS I was pouring it. Really well carbed, but dissipated quickly and the jammy fruit character was unmatched for me. Creamy too. Excellent lambic! Still a little bit of funk underneath too. Wow...huge fruit.
