Some vintage RdG for slowdown Sunday! Quite tart when cold but balances out as it warms. Still lots of berry bite/gummies mixed w/ light carb followed by subtle funk & some oak flavors. Flavors linger long enough in-between sips.

Double milestone celebration today so decided to crack this open! Quite still for a new bottle, funk is also subdued but maybe due to the cognac barrels? Still getting a lot of complexity with gummy orange, fresh lime, & some pepper as well when it warms.

Lots of grape as expected with fresh Cantillon. Again, all 3 beers are execeptional but I'd take the aged St. Lam over this by a very close margin.

This lineup is the hardest to choose from as all had its own winning characteristics. Lightest color but I'd say the most balanced (funk, fruit, tartness) from the 3 but each has its own distinct quality. One of the best side by sides I've had!

Doesn't seem to have that Cantillon funk but then again, neither of the other 3 beers. "Crispier" of the 3 but not as fruit forward as the other 2.

Sharper acidity vs. the 2020 one. Less fruit but not faint. Seems a totally different beer vs. the 2020 but in a good way. Sipping beer but not as crushable as the fresher batch

Vs. 2012, this is more fresh & alive (as expected). None of the usual Cantillon funkness but still great. The addition of apricot as the adjunct just makes this beer very spectacular!

More celebratory brews! Fuller cherry vs. the 3F, followed by that signature Cantillon funk. Though a younger brew, I'd prefer this but will revisit my other bottles in the future. Lovely lambics for a lovely occasion!
