Celebrating the birth of my 5th grandchild, 2nd Grandson(no name as yet)👶🍻 … Olivier V. Michael M. yes your recommendations were spot on! Funky but eminently smashable & quite possibly the best Gueuze I’ve had?🍻 🇧🇪
For some strange reason I seem to be going backwards today! … American dream? Is it? Is it really? I think Mikkeller, along with Brewdog & Cloudwater have lost the plot(read drinker)but that’s not why you called! Just NO! You used to be good 😌
Super hazy, decent reducing head. Nice citrus aroma. Piney & resinous, although light in mouthfeel, & some oniony bitterness which follows through on a long finish. Does gluten make a difference?? Not a favourite Mikkeller 😕
More an American TIPA than NE? The alcohol bite hits right from the off. Fruity but nothing particular stands out. Very hoppy. Sticky, resinous finish. Typical of a good “easyish” drinking TIPA! 🇩🇰
Great find Anthony L. 👍 only 4 styles before full house! Very light pour & mouthfeel. Sweet honey & maple on the nose which follows through on taste. There’s also a background of lime initially & the chilli builds slowly on the end. 11% 🤤😴 🇭🇺
Unusual mead, as Mead Scientists are, but bloody lovely! Getting the grapefruit & red berry first & the honey right at the backend. Not overly sweet as some are. I ❤️ Mead & these guys are Europe’s best 🇭🇺
Overall rating for this is very low, but I can understand why! It’s very unusual! Everything is very light, colour, aroma & fruit flavours! It is however very hoppy on the palate & finish! It’s a “marmite” mead definitely, I’m in the like camp🤷🏼♂️ 🇭🇺
It’s the era of the TIPA! & this is one of, if not, the best out there! A hoppy, fruity, smooth as a fresh Hollywood waxing, mofo out there! Forget pour descriptions & shit! If it’s available? Just get it & drink the f****r....you decide 🇩🇰
