One of my favorite pumpkin ales. Not a sweet one, just the pumpkin sharpness with a lovely ale backbone. Guess it’s officially fall.

Bottling date of 9.3.21. So nearly a year. Wanted to see how it would age. Did beautifully. Super smooth but flavor still potent. Lots of vanilla, cinnamon and cocoa. Brilliant lingering finish.

Interesting because I liked it better young. Have had this since October. Coffee is dominating more and vanilla and cinnamon have faded.

Nice balance of flavors. Vanilla on the nose. Vanilla and cinnamon hits you immediately on the front end. Fades into an almost maple-like character mid-palate. Then sweet cocoa and coffee on the finish.

Was super psyched to find this at Whole Foods. Good as always, pumpkin-y and bittersweet.
