Simply sublime, as always. Tart, apples, plenty of lovely fruitiness and some wild Belgian funk. Pretty close to perfect and I need more of it.

I still prefer the original KBS, but adding cinnamon and vanilla hardly ever hurts a stout. The cinnamon flavors really stand out in this one. Feels sweeter than it actually is.

Very sweet, but with the salt and tequila it still manages to strike a good balance. A unique sour, almost like a Mexican cocktail which still tastes like the glorious juice of the barley. Never had anything like this before.

Maybe the most bitter barley wine I’ve so far, almost like a west coast DIPA. I don’t mind, this is good stuff.

Bourbon, vanilla and plenty of maple syrup. Solid stuff, but not like the lords at Bas Canada.
