Been waiting for this to show up here. Snuck out of work to pick some up, and ending my work day with it. The blueberry is prominent and tart, with little sweetness. It kinda masks the barrel aging a bit, but very enjoyable. Cheers to Friday!

This is amazing! The barrel aging smooths it out and the abv is so well hidden! Wow!

Go big or go home. Well, I’m already home so I’m going big! Such a boozy, barrel aged treat!

Getting an aroma and taste of dark fruit; mostly raisins. Such a distinct barrel aged taste. Taste of sherry at the back end gives it a bit of dryness.

Aroma of chocolate. What I expect from a brown ale. Getting the coffee and vanilla hints as well. Not a lot of barrel, but very tasty. Glad I got an extra one to share with my son, Steven G.!

The vanilla and cinnamon are subtle, with the cocoa more prominent to me. Not getting a lot of barrel. It’s good for its league.

Having a backwoods as I head back home! Too late to open anything serious like a Bruery or BCBS.

Pretty good. Not getting much bourbon barrel aged taste, but the maple and vanilla come through. Sweet but not too much. And as far as claws go, at only 9.2%, these are baby claws. So yes, a cub.

Little ABV burn but lots of berry flavor. Just too many to get a definite flavor. Needed to drink it because the label fell off the bottle.

You Bastard! So yummy, this Scottish ale has some subtle sweet caramel notes and the barrel aging is just right for an easy sipping beer!

Similar to the KBS Maple Mackinaw Fudge, but minus the maple and a little more roasted coffee and slight bitterness. Both good but I prefer the other.

Roasty smell, tastes of chocolate fudge, coffee and slight maple. They seemed to make all these flavors come through without being overly sweet. And smooth as hell.

It's no secret that I'm not a fan of IPAs, but have to admit I liked this one.
