So glad to see this came back! Delicious cherry and bourbon barrel with a lightly tart kick. Subtle maple on the finish, mild sweetness. I could drink this whole 4 pack in one go. As Crystal said, it's like a cherry old fashioned.

Chocolate, oak still present after 2 years. Not much bourbon flavor, lots of tobacco aroma, dry.

Soft notes of caramel, oak, subtle maple and bourbon. Aging has softened the sweetness and brought out more of the oak.

Our last bottle of this delicious old ale. Drinks like a barley wine, lots of toffee and sweetness from the molasses, not a strong maple flavor, I think it dropped out with aging. The bourbon barrel is really smooth and complementary.
