Marelica

Sour - Fruited

Marelica is a mixed fermentation ale brewed with barley, wheat and oats and aged in oak barrels. After several months of barrel-aging with a mixed culture containing Brettanomyces and Lactobacillus, we added French apricot puree and let it age further before bottle conditioning. Marelica presents itself with assertive sourness, relatively low carbonation and a bouquet of refreshing stone fruit aromas. 75cl, 5.5% ABV

So American-ish sourness. The sourness and acidity are so aggressive and sharp that it hurts your teeth. Acetone notes. Is there not any quality control for this? Seedling was Amazing, but this should never had been put up for sale. Can’t recommend this
