Bourbon, not much coffee, thin with no head or carb. Very good

Sweet. Don't really get any of the NBA except for some oak notes. Kind of like coffee brewed in barrels with a drizzle of honey or simple syrup.

Nice and roasty, coffee covers the barrel a bit especially for a 21mo aging.

Eleganssia, kahvista syvää paahdetta, luumurusinaista tynnyriä ja puista kuivaa suuta harovaa tuntumaa. Melko paksua. Hienoa, odotin silti vielä täyteläisempää.

More traditional BA stout. coffee comes in a bit strong followed by stronger boozy flavors. Hits u upfront but needs something to cut the booziness and mellow it out. 3.8-3.9.

3.875. MUST let it warm. Harsh palette. Burnt brown sugar figs leather + hint tobacco. Medium bitter light spicy light earthy coffee finish - nice complexity. Barrel adds strength / light burn but no sweet. Smooth clean + thinner.

Coffee bomb. An excellent showcasing of the Costa Rican coffee. Dark fruit prominent . More bourbon apparent as it warms but would like a bit more. Quite a bit of heat.
