Brother brought this back from Denmark. Caramel raisins dark cherries, tempered by the woody bourbon barrel. Delicious. Probably at it’s prime. Also 16% ABV but tastes like 10% dangerous

And again! Like Christmas cake… sweet, rich, boozy, lots of raisins in there; this is still truly lush.

Honingzoete barley wine met karamel, rozijn, dadel en kers, een subtiel kruidige hint kaneel, kardemom en nootmuskaat en daarna overgoten met een flink alcoholische vleug BA op cognac en bourbon. Zwaar en imponerend.

Gekaramelisseerde appeltjes met dikke keukenstroop erover. Cognac komt heel vet door.

Jaysus! Whopper barleywine. Cinnamon really comes through once it warms up.

It reminds me of plumbs soaked in brandy, with oakiness and spices from bourbon barrels. But it's made Christmassy by the clear cinnamon alongside. Cracking beer insanely strong and noticably so.

Sweet mother of God! Wow!! Cognac and bourbon slap you straight in your face, then the spices take over, and finally there’s that alcoholic warmth that lasts for minutes! For a country that drinks mostly Tuborg, man these guys know how to brew heavy!!

Åh, varför tog den slut? Riktigt god med söta toner av russin. Abv märktes inte. Blev till och med bättre på Apex av den 😁.
