Chocolate and vanilla and a very dry finish that doesn't do the beer any favours.

Very sweet. Can really taste the vanilla. Not much else to it except sweet vanilla. Not deep and bitter enough for stout. Very sweet aftertaste.

Alas, it is a SESSION pastry stout, but even so it’s a little too thin for my taste. The aftertaste is hardly there and there’s not much of anything. The taste that is there though is decent, but it’s missing a bit of oomph.

Vanilla and cream of cocoa in the nose. The classic stout bitterness comes sneaking through the creaminess with a somewhat nutty aftertaste. But the bitterness is mildly subdued by the lactose. Interesting as always from To Øl.👌🏼

Thin, sweet stout. Chocolate and vanilla at first develops into a roasty coffee flavour with a bitterness at the back end. Dijon v Toulouse.

Sweet and roasty. Can notice the lactose but it's not at all thick or pastry like. Think 5% and pastry stout is a crossover almost impossible to get right
