Stout - Imperial / Double Pastry

rewed just days before the second COVID-19 lockdown of 2020/21 and aged in barrels throughout its duration, “Økuller” is a collaboration between the Danish island breweries of Fanø Bryghus (Fanø) and Beer Here (Bornholm). Brewed with Cocoa Nibs, Muscvado and Belgian Candi Sugars, “Økuller” spent several months in Stauning Whisky barrels before being blended and aged on whole Polynesian vanilla pods. The result is a smooth imperial stout soaked in aromas of raisins, vanilla, sugar and chocolate. As the beer warms notes of leather, oak and coffee are revealed.

Fantastisk faglagret Imperial Stout. Lagt på Stauning Whisky fade. Samarbejdsbryg mellem Fanø Bryghus og Beer Here. Skønne smagsnoterne af ristede mørke maltsorter, som er I god smagsnoter af chokolade, vanilje, kandis, rosiner og lette whisky noter.

Intense dark roasted and sweet malty with an opulent chocolate base, supported with sweet layers of caramel, toffee, and singed brown sugar sweeping in, ashy earthy malts, full bodied, vanilla and whisky soaked accents coalesce into the close. Lovely ❤️
