Ur-Hell

Lager - Helles

"Ur-Hell is a Helles Lager, inspired by the more malty & hoppy Helles lagers found in Franconia. Expect a sunkissed golden yellow beer in the glass, with at lovely rich malt body, with both remnants of the light crackery crispness of fresh Pilsner malt, paired with the rich doughy & bready decadence of the melanodin rich munich malts. All carefully interplayed with a gentle bitterness and vibrant hop aromatics of fresh-cut grass, citrus, and black pepper. This is a perfect accompaniment to the coming of spring!

Grainy and floral nose. Floral, light herbal opening on the buds, grainy and bready backbone with a soft and semi sweet follow that finishes mildly bitter. Great stuff!

Lovely malty lager, the right amount of sweetness and breadyness 😊 Huge flavor for a small beer 😊 I get caramel, rustic bread from the malts, balanced sweetness and a spicy, herbal note from the hops 😊

Herbal and floral, very dry and rather thin, lacks bitterness.
