The Hippster might call it „edgy“. I call it rough and beautiful. Though it’s close to a Barley Wine, the Ale foundation shines through and provides the edginess. Sweet with a good wooden and bitter counterpart. And boy… what an easy sipper for 15.5 ABV

Yummy, nutty, gets even better by adding red wine grapes to it. 5000brews is quite a number. Since this was this years target, I will go a bit easier on it from now, but if there is a bottleshare just let me know there are a few still in the cellar☺

Perfectly balanced! Clear bourbon notes in both taste and smell.

Så er der satme dømt voksen øl! Hold da maule.. Knald på bourbon, tørrede frugter og brun farin. En smule boozy, men det giver god mening med 14,5% - men ellers virkelig godt balanceret! Prøv den!

Lovely! Great barrel aging - probably one of the best barrel aging danish beers for a long time. This one beats BA colussus

Ren fadlagret sveskejuice. Tørrede frugter, lidt tør/nutty. Boozy. Kunne godt bruge lidt mere mundfylde.

Dejlig aroma af molasse og dyb maltfornemmelse med et skud bourbonfad ovenpå. Ikke specielt sød. Rigtig fin - pil op - men ikke helt i top imho.
