Feb 2011: mout, melkchocolade, mokka, citroen en meloen. Drop. Ethiopische koffie. Olieachtige hop en tropisch en rood fruit. Complex met een lange nasmaak.

An interesting experiment, but ultimately one that is too safe to really wow you. Grapefruity hops rule the aroma but the slightest hint of roasted coffee creeps in. I would have liked a more aggressive coffee presence. Medium bodied with an earthy fade.

RB backup. Aug 3 2014. Keg @ Birmingham Beer Bash. Hope this is the right one, had it written down as something else. Horrible rotten vegetal taste. Not sure what went wrong here but definitely did not taste right. And couldn’t get much coffee.

One a day historical check in, drank June 2011. Caramel, coffee, fresh herb and butterscotch nose. Full on coffee flavours with light citrus notes. Dry finish.
