How exciting. Great beer. Glad I write the vintage on the cap. The consume by date is 2025. Getting a head start on Christmas to get this year finished and close out this decade. This aged very well. I have a big bottle to suck down. This from Dave H. ???

Alter Egoo

(2017) W zapachu kandyzowane owoce, karmel oraz dominujące przyprawy z wyraźną kolendrą i pomarańczami. W smaku podobnie, słodkie, likierowe, w kontrze średnia do niskiej, pikantno-pestkowa goryczka, lekko piekące od ziół i alkoholu w posmakach. 3.7

Nearly vinous as the caramelized dark fruit has evolved into vanillin, toasted oak and rich leather.

Fant en rakker på kvestn, lagret lett å kjølig. Veldig godt modnet med åra. Mørk og rund kryddersmak

Nov 10 2016. Great Belgian quad, nicely balanced, hints of spice here and there, smooth with whispers of sweetness. A good winter warmer.

Sugary belgian dubbel with dark fruits in the aroma. Medium body, sweet and mild-to-medium bitterness. Plethora of spices at first in the flavor, turns into almost syrupy sweet fruitiness. Quite well preserved tho.
