2017 batch. I had this last year at their taproom when I was in SD and it was amazing. It was just as good tonight. Such an amazing balance of oak, vanilla and chocolate flavors. I will always seek this one out.

BBA for 8 months. Coffee,vanilla. Vanilla💣,roasted malts,coffee,chocolate,cocoa,oak,bourbon🎶 towards the finish. Smooth,rich oaty body and easy finish. Moderate sweetness,but balanced well with the other flavors.

2016 batch. Held up pretty well. Low carb, good vanilla, only slightly oxidized

Didn’t dig this quite as much as last time, but still tasty as hell. Was a bit more thin than I remembered...

Powdery cocoa and vanilla with coffee, whiskey, dark chocolate and liqueurpralines. Bitter finish.

Perfect stout. Smooth, creamy with a vanilla accent that doesn’t overpower the bourbon barrel. Perfect harmony

The geeks left the Nerds due to their revenge of other worlds. They parted ways with the recipe of the barrel aged to make the beer set forth which undoubtedly proved their worth. If you know what I mean, then enjoy this vanilla bean.

weird floral/herbal flavor and nose that I couldn't get past. Slightly metallic finish as well

This was great excellent. I had to go back multiple times for this one. Always a special stout on tap at Flip Side !
