Huge up-front fruit, then sharp granny smith light vanilla barrel, light lactic musty yogurt thing, big lingering pucker.

Huge brett, more than i'd ordinarily associate with Cantillon, big old elderflower still there, very nice tasting aged lambic.

Beer Geek Vanilla Shake BA (2016)
Pretty sure i bought this at Beer Hive around Dec 16 (Lervig brewed, bottled Sep 16) and baulked at the 6 quid price tag.... Aged well, lovely whisk(e)y after the initial vanilla fudge cake batter, reedick easy for 13%.

Bbe 2027 so assumed 2017 version.... Still got huge raspberry fruit, even a sweet edge to it, light socky funk, noice.

Doesn't reach the heights of OG '15, age perhaps not helped, still a ridiculous c10% tert blueberry funtime, residuals almost dry out, could scoop easily.

Maybe 21? Anyway....might've mistaken for a Nath erroneous bottling, got stringy fresh rhubarb with a load of stone fruit, a fair funk for the age, that nice edge between complex and scoop. Cheers to David R.

Taster swap dealie from Spanish table proximiters. Cheers, enjoy rest of your trip!

Smells hella funky, lovely initial complexity but, as with all cantillon grape dealies (pour moi) sweet fructose takes over, not nearly dry in the finish. Still pretty pretty super.

Popped in en route home for first brewday of the season.... Fruity, accessible lambic. rejuvenating? No.

Quite juicy, bit of residual sweetness at end I could do without, nice woody funk tang, scooped/feel human again.

Moeder Lambic Fontainas Cuvée X Browsel
Quite young (2019) but majority being 4 yo lambic tastes like quite a mature gueuze. More than a little golden doesjel about it. Pretty fruity with apricot, mellow tart, smooth, pretty accessible but lovely lambic.

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2022)
Could do with some age on it, very enjoyable still.

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 109 Mono Blend
Sweaty oaky leathery brett, earthy, ton of apricot musty fruit, green apple, pineapple, lemon, in the minority but definitely get the cognac from the barrel, ever so slightly lively (for me), stunning beer at 6 years aged, only get better (cries).

Very provisionally... light leathery brett and lemonbalm, could've scudded another half dozen. Cheers Jase The Ace

Wee note to do a side by side with McEwans Champion, reckon there is very little in it.

Enjoyed more on 2nd dance, coffee shining, milk sugar sweetness waning, smooth vanilla mocha with a light boozy barrel edge, very noice.

10% strawberry juice, not remotely a gose, getting a little of the tequila. Tasty but not sure what it is. Best vinyl reissue this year tho....

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019)
Cost 3 euros less than my flight. So there's that.

Creamy toffee caramel, vanilla, oaky barrel, demerara, bourbon warming yet intertwined.

Lost all of any sweet cocoa fudge edge it used to have, straight up bitter roasty coffee, light roasty chocolate, better odes to coffee out there but not for 2 fiddy(!), a great beer that doesn't rely on the pastry.

BB May 15.... Creamy vanilla oaky whisk(e)y, demerara, plum/raisin, caramel, very well balanced, superb.

Demerara tinged coffee roast, boozy cherry fruit cake, liquorice, pretty sweet but plenty booze and roast to curtail, got better as it went.
