A big beer for a big kick in the ass on a Sunday evening! Thick, sweet, VANILLA, milk & dark chocolate, faint coffee, enough tang & bitter give balance. Slight whiskey heat but otherwise super sneaky 13.4% ABV!!!!!!

Mixed the beers up. Non barrel aged 4.75, bba 4.5... very similar, tastes slightly sweeter without the barrel

Smells of bourbon & chocolate cake. Taste of bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, coconut, and black licorice in back. Sweet vanilla after.

Coffee, choclolate, barrel aging AND vanilla. Vanilla dominates at first. Thick choco stout feel. Sweetish for sure, but not pastry sweet. Brownie cakish feel.

White whale that lives up to the hype. Not sure how much better a BBA stout could be. Vanilla is prominent, coffee is subtle, & bourbon is present without overpowering. Lovely.
