Very very bitter aftertaste. It's quite lagging. But not over powering.

Just a taster, and listed on the blackboard at 18.7%! Surprisingly smooth considering. Without checking, I’m assuming it’s the highest ABV beer I’ve ever tried.

Untappd says 16.7%, menu says 18.7%... whatever, it's big. Nose: heavy roasted malt, brewed coffee, light raspberry. Beautifully sour berry with a marshmellow sweetness, but coffee dregs slash and burn the palate on the aftertaste. No mercy charcoal.

Volgens het kaartje 17,5%. Eerst heul zoet.

You taste all 15% of this booze bomb. But so much more to it. It's deep flavors of coffee and toffee. It's for spice of licorice or anise. It's creamy vanilla and chocolate mousse. Never had an imperial with this level of alcohol this sweet. Yes!

After a hard day work, deserved special one. Damn good imperial black stout. Heavy boozyness. Good foamy head with a black ipa bitterness. Still a good chocolat and small BAging going on. Great stuff.

Roasty coffee flavor. Very sweet, and a bitter ending. Lacks some depth and doesn't come together. The ABV is not noticeable though, so something is done right.

Boozy, extremely reduced charred coffee, very sweet, even tart. To say off balance is kind. An odd one for sure.

Smells like a stout aged in red wine barrels. First taste hits with wine notes, then dark malt and malty bitterness, then cane sugar sweetness unfolds and stays on the tongue. Superb.
