Uff, thick, aged, dark, boozy . Strong. A wee bit too heavy

Inköpt december 2018. Den har definitivt vunnit på drygt 2 års lagring. Blir nog perfekt till jul!

Dejlig mørk øl, en let røget og lidt spicy note.

Hold da lige fast. Her er smæk for skillingen. Den er stærk, tyk og dejlig i sin sødmefulde smag.

Snadder! Mye belgisk gjær og brød, litt lakris og en del krydder. Nydelig balansert.

Obviously off season already, but this is still a massive taste bomb of dried dark fruits, think figs, prunes and raisins, caramel, booze, rich malts, licorice and everything Christmas is made out of.

Dried fruits. Caramel and toffee sweetness. Prunes. Brown sugar. Oily mouthfeel. Liquorice. Light chocolate notes. Alcohol warmth.

Pours fantastic, with a creamy head. Nose is mild spicing, roasty malts. Palate is boozy first, and then a lovely malty Belgian strong dark after, with hints of fig, white raisin, and yes booze, and licorice in the linger. A bit hot but really tasty.

Bottle @ home. Deep dark brown colour, beige foam. Nose of dried fruit, caramel, some spices, a bit roasty. Taste is sweet, malty, some hoppiness and notes of spices. Well balanced.
