Stout - Oatmeal

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, many say, and if you are a beer geek there is no better way to start the day than with a powerful, complex morning stout. This is the beer that started it all for Mikkeller. Oatmeal Stout brewed with coffee and seven different kind of malt (Pils, Oat, Smoked, Caramunich, Brown, Pale Chocolate, Chocolate), roasted barley, oat flakes, hops (Centennial, Cascade), American ale yeast and gourmet coffee. Aroma is a combination of malts, caramel, chocolate and coffee. The body is medium with light coffee and chocolate flavors with a creamy texture, average carbonation and a bitter edge on the finish. A beer that goes extremely well with breakfast.

This beer put stouts on the map for me around 2010. First time I’ve had one from a can brewed in San Diego. Maybe the last? Wasn’t it sold? Still great, not as good as I remember.

Legendarni zalezitost.Prvni Mikkeller pivo,ktere vzniklo v roce 2006.Tohle je rocnik 2016 s expiraci v roce 2026.Kavova extaze.Hodne podhodnocene pivo,ale fakt netusim,jak chutna aktualni produkce.Mam jeste 1ks a ten si rozhodne dam k snidani :)
