Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, many say, and if you are a beer geek there is no better way to start the day than with a powerful, complex morning stout. This is the beer that started it all for Mikkeller. Oatmeal Stout brewed with coffee and seven different kind of malt (Pils, Oat, Smoked, Caramunich, Brown, Pale Chocolate, Chocolate), roasted barley, oat flakes, hops (Centennial, Cascade), American ale yeast and gourmet coffee. Aroma is a combination of malts, caramel, chocolate and coffee. The body is medium with light coffee and chocolate flavors with a creamy texture, average carbonation and a bitter edge on the finish. A beer that goes extremely well with breakfast.

Smells amazing, roasty malt. Flavor packs a punch. More the bitter than the sweet side overall. Perhaps that is also the quite high alcohol coming through. Almost liquorice hints.

Coffee and chocolate in the nose. Mouthfeel is great. Coffee is more pronounced than other flavors. A little metallic. Still solid.

Aamupala on historiaa, mutta niin on pian tämä olutkin! Kahvieliksiiriä tölkissä, vähän terävä tai "raaka"(harsh) mutta miellyttävällä tavalla. Nokinen kahvinkyllästämä katkero jää summuun pyörimään. Mustaa kuin elämä ja musa joka taustalla soi🤘
