Well I can't very well allow its average to go down. I know it seems like I'm rating high, but reality is new checkins for me generally are beers I seek out lol

Excellent if you’re in the mood for a huge stout. Remarkably smooth for the ABV. Nice flavors, well balanced, nothing overwhelming other than the overall boldness. Biggest con for me is the sweetness level.

Good God. For something not BA, this is about as good as it gets.

Huge vanilla aroma, flavors of chocolate and vanilla bean, some dark chocolate and coffee bitterness to balance the sweetness. Impressive.

3 years old, the vanilla is mostly gone except at the finish , now more coffee and bitter

Super sweet picking up hints of raw maple syrup on finish.

Gave it an extra .25 cause it’s probably Bit too warm. Temp leaves it a bit sticky. Flavor balance is great though: vanilla and sweetness from (I assume) lactose evened our by darker malt bitterness. Perhaps a bit undercarbonated, adding to the sticky.

Fantastically & fabulously delicious! So, so smooth. Wow. Each taste of this nectar of the gods brings a little shiver of disbelief a beer can taste this good.

This would be a good sipping beer on the deck or by the pool.

Late. Dark fruits, roast, and slight vanilla. Way too sweet and out of balance.

The first stout I ever loved. Sweet vanilla notes with bitter chocolate. Sweet to the nose and almost chewy! A masterpiece!

Really good, like a nice Christopher Cross song on a crisp Saturday night.

Bold chocolate flavor hits you at the start with some smooth creamy texture trying to battle through the heavy malts and big abv
