4.5* Boom. This is every bit the big hitter you’d hope it would be. Sweet thick booze from the bourbon and vanilla is balanced out by the depth of bitterness from the coffee notes.

Mouthwatering goodness, very balanced sweet, rich dark roasted malty body, smooth round fudge creamyness. Maybe a bit too sweet and the bitternes at the midway cuts the sweetness towards the end.

So creamy, so smooth. Nutty on the nose, lovely sweetness hits you at first taste, followed by a clear taste of barrel aging and whiskey.

Direct comparison with the rye bourbon barrel. Though one. Both are very good and the difference is very subtle. I really like this one though...

Brownies, caramel sauce, bourbon notes, roasted coffee beans. Thick, sticky & rich. Pinch of bitterness in the finish. Liquid dessert.

De Rye was nog net ietsje beter, maar kom op... Dit is klasse spul :-) chocolade, vanille en bourbon. Lekker hoor.

John Fudge approves! Virkelig blød og sød, men den tydelige vanilje og kakao står tydeligt, og lidt Werther's flødekaramel gør den bare ekstra dejlig.

Jeuzus... moddervadsige unit. De geur doet me denken aan roggebrood. Smaak is heel vol, dik, vanille, cacao en bruine suiker. Machtig mooi spul!

Tasty as. Balanced, sweet but not overly so. Lingering vanilla caramel, I'm not really finding the barrel notes here, but I don't care, it's super enjoyable and that's what matters 😋
