Unknowingly aged in the family basement fridge for 4.5 years. Mellower. Probably was a collector’s item, whoops.

Slightly hoppy yet sweet aromas. Medium bodied with a thin mouthfeel. Sweet malty flavors with a slight hoppy bitterness. Hop flavors have definitely dissipated with age, possible old bottle. Honey flavors add sweetness. Bitter hoppy dry finish.

Not bad, but I think it had been on the shelf for a while - very mellow for a double.

One of those beers that you never ever want it to finish. Mouthsmashing hops, even long after its BBday. Juniper and all that jazz.

Gorgeous, full-bodied, and resinous. Not too sweet. Bitterness lingers, enticing you back. Floral notes. Doesn’t strike as hard as the name suggests - much more balanced. Held up well as a pre-COVID release. Share beer.
