7 yrs later and still great. 7 yrs later and I still don’t know what an avocado leaf tastes like. Wish I had the tequila version.

Very malty and hearty, the chocolate and coffee initially overpower most of the other flavors. Spice and complexity come in on the finish, though not much heat. Very smooth and satisfying.

RB2016 On tap. Jet black, nice brown head and quite good lacing. Aromas of coffee, little bit chocolate and spices. First sips with little heat, then lightly sweet with bitterness in the finish. Medium to full body, creamy with very pleasant mouthfeel.

2017-02-16, 330ml bottled 2016-05-09. Pour pitch black with a dense creamy dark tan head. Aroma is from roasted malt, spice and herbs. Taste of dark coffee, dark malt and yes chilies. Medium to full body, oily feel, average carbonation, long bitter finish

Enjoyed the bitterness of the coffee. Too much smoke for my palate to rate it any higher.

Not my favourite Mexican stout- but it’ll do. Nothing like a beer in front of the fire while winter camping.

This is a really good stout. The adjuncts are lost on me, though, probably due to the beer’s age. I do get the faintest bit of chili heat halfway through the glass.
