Good cherry flavor, hides strength well, smooth; might be too fruity for more than one

Bottled 10apr2024. Very well balanced. Slightly tart cherry on top of the typical barrel aged notes of bourbon and vanilla. Smooth and easily drinkable.

A year in a barrel imparts a lot of vanilla and oak, tamping down the sourness of the cherries, which retain their sweetness

The smell is definitely not my favorite, but the taste is solid enough

First few tastes werenβt great. The wood flavor comes on very strong. The deeper into it you get, and the longer you spend with it, the richness fades away into a real pleasant cherry. Takes a minute to get used to, but very good once youβre there.

This is nice, a little sweet but barrel aging kind of offsets that without giving off Robitussin Pair with something smoky or spicy maybe a good buffalo wing

Battle lines of macerated cherry a Bourbon barrel face off at the hump. Lovely sweet earthy finish. Adventurous ale! Cheers!

I expect these cherry beers to taste like cough syrup. (Most do!). But this one was delightful. Sweet cherry flavor with a little bit of zing from barrel aging. Thicker mouthfeel, good for sipping.
