Cherry is proper, not as tart as I was expecting. Almost like a cherry soda.

Cherry beers are tough, and this is a perfect example. That first taste is ‘Oh! That’s really good!’ But things go south the deeper you go in. The sweetness becomes cloying and by the end you want something bitter to clean your palate.

A more mature cherry beer than Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Distinct sour cherry flavor, like a tart cherry pie. Not too sweet.
