Wow! The initial waft of syrup is delicious, then you taste it. STRONG! Packs a punch but hang in there and wait for all the richness of this brew to assail your senses, ending with a stringent burnt taste. Amazing

Too much cinnamon. Flavorings don’t work as well with this as with their stouts

I'm mixed on this, but I'll give it a 4. One issue I have is that, to me, it doesn't seem to have enough body or but enough sugars but I also am drinking this after a heavy barleywine so I'll try it again to make sure.

As advertised - aroma is a persistent butter and maple slathered pancakes. Scattered soapy lacing with some puddling. As a fan of Backwoods Bastard, I cannot believe how much better they made it with this one. Pancakes in a glass.

Yikes. That upfront flavor is sharp and unappealing. Like straight clove, but the linger is really nice lol you just gotta take unpleasant flavor for 4-5 seconds and that linger is actually really good haha.

Bedlam! Maple and vanilla laden on the nose. Initial flavor is warm and buttery. Then BBA brings all of those notes out at once. Absolutely delish!

Tastes like… French toast and maple syrup. So, a 10am beer it is! Hair off the dog for the Missus. Yeesh

So, so delicious. One of the smoothest scotch ales I have ever had, hands down. Sweet but not too sweet, syrupy but not overpowering or thick. Dare I say refreshing?

Boozy in the right way. Smells like a glazed cinnamon swirl doughnut.
