Not good at all … the barrel aging just doesn’t taste good to me .. very strong liquor / odd taste that drowns out all else

This wasn't the beer I ordered, but it is the beer I'm drinking. Not my favorite. A bit too sweet with a "dusty" aftertaste.

Raiding the cellar to get rid of old stuff. The picture doesn't show it but quite a bit of carbonation upon opening. A TON of raisin and dark fruit. Minty. Time has unfortunately not done this beer many favors. Otherwise, this is a 4.5+/5 beer normally.

En underlig bismag der nærmest minder lidt om mint. Ikke meget eftersmag at hende. Founders skuffer igen... Holder mig fra deres flasker, kun fra fad kan det bruges.

Rich, creamy, dark, toasty, roasty, cocoa, and coffee. Surprisingly tasty for my normal likes.

This is why I don’t drink Founder’s anymore. The level of quality since they sold the majority stake of the company to Mahou San Miguel is sad.

Mmmm, this was delicious!! Not much aroma, but the taste is amazing. Mild after taste.
