Bags of flavour, surprisingly full of life for this abv, deep chocolate coffee sweetness and a slight licorice finish. This is lovely but a few too many adjuncts to score higher - the imp stout purist in me.

So much maple smoothness. Molasses, maple, brown sugar, dried fruit, with a finish of cacao. So well rounded and balanced.

Zalige stout, ietsje minder dan de 2018 versie. Deze 2019 versie is blijkbaar ander alcohol %: 11,6 ipv 11,3.

Maple coming out more and the heat is pretty much gone. Roasted notes still there and aging well in general...heat turned up as it warmed

10-3-20 smell bourbon, coffee, chocolate in that order. Taste deep dark chocolate mocha coffee with a couple of shots of bourbon. 10 months has done well for this one.
