Breakfast for dinner calls for a breakfast beer! One of our last few CBS bottles.

I found this tucked away not all that long ago in a beer distributor in Montgomery County. The chocolate has remained very strong as it's aged. The barrel aging has dissipated a little, and its much more chocolate forward now.

Licorice and oaky, bourbon barrel nose. Bitter, slight cognac sweetness. Warming and what you'd expect from an aged Founders breakfast stout.

This has aged well. Coffee is subtle with a good amount of sweetness. 👍🏻

Wow!! Now that is some great beer! Perfect balance of chocolate, coffee and not to strong on the bourbon. Only got 1 but I need more!

The best description for this is balanced. Maple, chocolate, roasty malty BA flavors are all subtle but come together in a balanced and tasty treat.
