After seeing a lot of posts of this beer I just had to try it. I was not disappointed. Its a perfect balance of malt, bitterness and sweetness

Older, was bottled in Sept. '19. The maple and coffee are both pretty subtle but it's quite balanced overall.

Coffee fell off a little since it was bottled, but not too bad. I mostly get sweet chocolate, a little maple and bourbon notes. Always delicious.

A bit better than KBS, but still lacking some balance and a bit more alco feeling than for other beers with same ABV. But it's definitely great beer

I know it’s the same beer that I have given a 4.75 in the past. However I think I have it at the perfect temperature and it’s a perfect day to drink this type of beer. I’m giving it a 5!

Hadden we gewoon even zin in. Ik wist dat dit flesje precies de smaak zou zijn waar ik trek in had, wel even een half uurtje in de koelkast. Veel pure chokolade, wat koffie en in de nasmaak een vleugje kokos. Wat bitter in de nasmaak. Maar ook biergeur.

Aged 2 years. Maple syrup is much more subtle. I love it!

Less ultrasweet than I remember the 2017 version. Thick and rich.
