Dik en plakkerig. De bourbon is goed te proeven. Flink alcoholisch en verwarmend. Zoet en diep. Dit verwacht ik te krijgen uit dat houten tonnetje als ik gered word door een Sint Bernard.

Simply terrific. It's a dreary, drizzly Sunday- good stout weather. Rich stout flavors with some raisin/fig dipped in a chocolate/coffee coating. The maple and bourbon combine for just the right sweetness. Dry, chocolate heavy finish. Bottled 10/9/19

Aged 2 yrs. Creamy nose, caramel & vanilla nose, slight oxidation. Moderately thick body, light carbonation. Roasty, coffee-like finish, toffee & vanilla, still fairly decadent.

Craving a big stout and not a lot going around right now. This is tasting great, probably my least favorite year though, booze is gone, less barrel than I remember from other years. 4.4

Aged for 2 years. Hints of black licorice, smooth mocha notes. Still good and very smooth. Notes of smokiness. Last beer of free agency. #PureMichigan
