Been sitting on this long enough. Nobody to share with so here goes. Mellow booziness on nose & throughout. Coffee flavor muted-almost nonexistent. Some sweetness from the maple. Rich chocolate flavor. Too bad Founders discontinued this series. Divine!!!

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA (2023) green
Bottled 4/10/2023. Unbelievably smooth for 17%. Love the comment on the bottle - “Enjoy now or age for a decade or so”. Purchased at their bottle shop in Rehoboth

Raspberry with some sweetness and tart. Dry finish. Thin. I enjoyed it but guessing it would have tasted better a few years ago. #rif

French Toast Bastard 2023 green
Liquid French toast with maple syrup. Cinnamon and vanilla there but subtle. Sweetness disguises the scotch ale characteristics to the point that it is hard to recognize the beer style.

Wow very good. Gotta buy some to age. Opened bottle & let sit 30 minutes before drInking. Mellow booze all over the place Still smooth on the finish. Dried plums or figs. Malty and hoppy. Not a complaint but thicker and chewier as it warms would be a plus

Bottled 8/5/2021. Coffee on nose and finish. Too much caffeine for me. Otherwise chocolate and vanilla and milk sugar blend nicely. Milk sugar mellows the booziness from the barrel. Founders I challenge you to make the same beer without coffee next year.

Decided to crack this open tonight Not disappointed whatsoever. Bourbon and chocolate on the nose. Smooth tasting with hints of vanilla and sweetness from the maple in the barrel. Booziness mellows smoothly as it warms. Damn good

My last 1 from cellar. Another great easy drinkin smooth 9% ABV that unfortunately has been discontinued. Speaking of discontinued beers heard via reliable source Liquid Truth Serum - 1 of my alltime favs from Dogfish - is endangered & soon to be extinct

Gifted by great friend BTender @ DFish Alehouse Gaithersburg. Told me it was 2013 version. Has lost some carbonation but definitely not the taste. Extremely smooth drinking. Flavors are full of dates/figs. Chewy as it warms. Subtle boozy finish Wow!!!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge green
Coffee and chocolate on the nose. Full of flavor. Sweet from the maple but not over the top. Wish it was more thick and chewy but that is nickpicking. Hint of smoke. Chocolate fudge taste is right on spot.

Curmudgeon Old Ale (2016) green
Lots of old school flavors. Figs +or raisins. Some bitterness but also sweetness from the molasses. Flavor intensifies as it warms. Glad I got a crowler and was relatively inexpensive. Enjoying the shit out of this.

Bottled 09/29/20. Definitely a dessert stout. I grew up eating chocolate covered cherries bigtime. This is like drinking a liquid chocolate covered raspberry (with a trace of coffee). Rich wicked and leaves you craving for the next sip

The best 75 is poured at Dogfish Ale House in Gaithersburg by Tim F. Thanks for the to go crowler Tim. Unofficially this is an 83.5 Minute IPA (and much better).
