Just as good almost 4 years later, def feel like it thinned out and is less sweet … bourbon is more prevalent and cocoa nibs are pretty strong too

Toegankelijk en soepel, geen gekke dingen. De gebrande suiker geur van de maple syrup ruik je meteen. Balans van bittere koffie en donkere chocolade en een beetje weeïg zoet in de smaak.

Pours jet black with thin dark brown head. Smells maple syrup with a hint of roastiness. Sweet woody vanilla, booziness is still quite apparent even after 2-year aging. Low-med carb, med thick body. Bittersweet, roasty finish

So smooth and sweet rich maple, chocolate and dark malt with bourbon barrel roasted coffee flavors. Still in its prime but not going to get any better. Last one from 2019. GONE! 4.7
