Getting plenty of bitter chocolate and coffee, and bourbon warmth, just not much maple 😥 Still v. tasty.

Chocolate, mellow coffee, maple syrup. Hint of roasty bitterness in the finish. Velvety smooth mouthfeel, alcohol very well hidden. Excellent.

The year of the “No Mountie”. Boo. Anyway…. good beer. I give myself a pat on the back on the aging. 2.5 years is pretty perfect with these types of beers. Smooth and not cloyingly sweet.
