Thx for the heads-up Dave…this is apparently pretty rare outside a Founders taproom…and it’s 1 impressive Belgian, what with tart, juicy raspberry, tequila-barrel aging and an almost blushing 11%!

Delightfully tart in the sweet sense, nice dubtle notes of agave sweetness with the tequila coming in the exhale to remind you that this is not the Blushing Monk you know, but the Padre you want to party with.

This is terrific! A tequila barrel aged version of Blushing Monk. Tartness from raspberries gone in this. Lots of stuff going on here. I love the Miller coaster I got with this!

Raspberry a dominant aroma but the tequila dirtiness comes through. I'm impressed. The raspberries provide a sweetness but not showiness that they can as the tequila holds them back. A real fun use of barrels.

Wow this is quite nice after 3 years. Tequila has really died down, mostly just Blushing Monk at this point
