I hate to admit how much I liked this beer. It might even be better than Blushing Monk.

Tequila barrel is minimal but its very much blushing monk which I love. Been after this one for awhile found it at the souce.

Amazing. The tequila aging adds a zest. Balanced and not too sweet.

Good Raspberry upfront with decent boozy mid from barrel aging and sweet.

Delightfully tart in the sweet sense, nice dubtle notes of agave sweetness with the tequila coming in the exhale to remind you that this is not the Blushing Monk you know, but the Padre you want to party with.

Thx for the heads-up Dave…this is apparently pretty rare outside a Founders taproom…and it’s 1 impressive Belgian, what with tart, juicy raspberry, tequila-barrel aging and an almost blushing 11%!

Pic was from Father’s Day but it has the 4th vibes in it. A good barrels aged version of the monk. The tequila gives it a layer and a slight burn that meets a touch of fruit and tartness.
