Sweet and nutty. Good maple. The wheat body blended with the bourbon barrels gives it a nutty finish.

Catching up on 2 weeks worth of beers. Wheat wine style ale aged in both regular bourbon barrels and maple syrup bourbon barrels. Sweet with bourbon, maple syrup, caramel, vanilla, and oak. Yeah, this is fucking excellent!

It tastes like cream soda on the front end, with some nice vanilla notes from the bourbon barrel. There's also a bit of a maple flavor from the maple bourbon barrel aging. A bit boozy, so it is a sipping beer.

Almost 9 years since I’ve had this beer. Just awesome. Founders continues to honor its legacy versus running away towards the next lazy fad. Glad to have this one back.
