Nice balance of beer flavor vs coffee flavor. Started off bitter-which I like. Smooth and not too heavy.

Aroma is suffering. Some acidity coming forth. Another case made for drinking fresh. Not the beer’s fault.

Ooof this one is quite coffee taste. Not as big of a fan of the other Founders stouts.

Better than the regular, current KBS. Espresso notes are there, which helps to bring out the barrel and imperial notes. Not bad. S'okay.

Big ole’ meh. Way too bitter, way too boozy. Just a mess.

I thought it was watered down. For the price I payed for this, I expected more.

Last bottle of the first batch. Still drinks a bit bitter, but the chocolate and barrel are a little more harmonious.

Brew Day! Great body. Coffee forward, with appropriate chocolate support. Has a bitterness that's from hops or just the alcohol peeking in.

Bottled 11/13/19 for 2020 release. Watching Red Dragon. Edward Norton is great. Beer is typical founders stout. Just trying to clear room for better options.
