Incredibly smooth for 12%! The coffee and bourbon balance each other almost perfectly, leaning towards the sweetness. One of the smoothest barrel-aged beers I've had in a while!

Ух, хорошо! Все как я люблю. Такая же вкусняшка, как предыдущий экземпляр. Но мне немножко не хватило плотности.

(2020) Release. Imperial Brown Ale w/Sumatra coffee aged in Bourbon Barrels. Bourbon first, coffee second, followed (in the distance) by brown. Very nice, no real ABV burn, just the barrel taste.

Holy moly Light body with full flavor of caramel, biscuit, well brewed coffee and earthy barrel character. Didn't feel alcoholic flavor and found out it was 11.9% ABV

Imperial brown ale är något av en underdog i ölvärlden. Minns när jag drack Nøgne Øs runt 07 och blev helt hänförd. Denna bjuder på karamell, brunmalt och jordig humle en masse med en fin mjuk bourbonarom. Enkelhet, balans och finess. Grymt bra helgslut!

This is super thick. Another great one from founders. I love this stuff. It's like a nice heavy smooth kinda bitter taste.

One of my favorite coffee brown ales, rich with strong coffee flavor and great oak and booze notes from the long stay in the barrel

Zucht... wat een luxe dat ik dit mag proeven. Zoveel chocolade, zoveel donkere koffie, zoveel zwoele zoetigheid en een licht vleugje houtgerijpte bourbon.... heerlijk!

Thick persistent head. Sweet and coffee fragrance bourbon is slight. Malty flavor mellowed by coffee and finishes with Bourbon.
