The coffee with the sweetness just doesn't work with me, may be good for others.

Lovely barrel aged brown ale. Loads on coffee on the nose. Malty, robust, oaky. Hints of bourbon. Extremely well crafted ale 🔥

very similar to my manchester brown that I recently made.

Doesn't have the taste of fresh-baked bread I remember from my wasted youth, but a solid entry nonetheless

99/311. No green pepper this time. Pretty tasty still. 2019 bottle.

This beer wowed me last year, so I was hyped to see it return for 2020. Strong coffee and bourbon aroma, very inviting. Rich flavors of milk chocolate, coffee, brown sugar, and bourbon. Slight boozy heat at the end but still drinks easy for 12%. Fantastic

Interesting mix of flavors with the Bourbon and brown ale maltiness taking point

First experience with an imperial brown. Did not disappoint.

Surprisingly mellow for the abv. Coffee dominates, with a burnt caramel and brown sugar flavor. Smoked almond, vanilla, and bonfire flavors present as it warms. Does not lend complexity as one would assume, but its solid

Nice way to end a night shift. Hope the 11.9% is able to counteract the coffee, so I can sleep!

Really good, but a damn strong beer for an afternoon Michigan/ Michigan State game!

I wish not every Stout, porter and brown able was barrel aged.

The ABV makes up for the lack of taste unless you just enjoy cocoa/coffee backends with a forward malty taste.

Not much for boozy beer but the coffee in this one makes it easy to drink

SUPER yum. Don't let sit for too long, or get too warm. It gets too boozy at the end. But so good!
