Underground Mountain Brown

Brown Ale - Imperial / Double

Underground Mountain Brown is the harmonious drinking experience only achieved when our imperial brown ale, earthy sumatra coffee and a year aging in caves below Grand Rapids comes together. A team of malts complement the bold sumatra coffee perfectly, while time spent immersed in oak creates layers of depth and complexity. A celebration of the barrel, the bean and everything in between.

Kind of round and caramelly, and dry coffee grounds at the same time. Keeps it from being too sweet.

4.1... it’s like a lesser version of Kane Driftwood. But still pretty decent. Definitely has the brown ale characteristics you’d expect.

This is a very nice night cap type brown ale. A chocolaty creamy coffee palette that finishes with a smooth bourbon barrel aged mouth pleaser.

Fun brown ale, great coffee notes and a smooth body. Smells like coffee, roasted nuts, and hints of earthy chocolate. Starts out smooth, slightly chocolate sweet, and coffee-y. Moves towards more coffee/earthy and ends with a hint of whiskey, not boozey.

Lovely barrel aged brown ale. Loads on coffee on the nose. Malty, robust, oaky. Hints of bourbon. Extremely well crafted ale 🔥

Surprisingly mellow for the abv. Coffee dominates, with a burnt caramel and brown sugar flavor. Smoked almond, vanilla, and bonfire flavors present as it warms. Does not lend complexity as one would assume, but its solid
