Founders Breakfast Stout is my favorite beer, and french toast is my favorite breakfast food so I had high hopes for this. It smells and tastes just like French toast and I realized after the first sip that French toast should not be a liquid.

Almost as good as Old Curmudgeon. I wish they would bring that one back!

Sort of barley wine. Good if you want slow sip for an evening.

Good, but not a standout in the KBS line. I’d choose the original or the Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa ahead; if you like this style, choose Oddside Ales’ Hazel’s Nuts.

I dislike hazelnut but this flavor is not overbearing. Love a good stout!
